BEFORE THE PLANS SOLIDIFY...

Before the work acquires weight and structure, there is only a kernal of inspiration and the quiet confidence that something might take shape. Moleskine. Muji. Midori. Tools of the inspiration stage.

Fresh ivory pages wait patiently: pale grids, unmarked margins, space aplenty for thoughts not yet fully formed. Inspirations surface beside idle whims; insights jostle with speculation. Sketchs, doodles, schemas. Lists multiply. Lists of lists. Scribbles circle back upon themselves. Ideas are rearranged, connected, discarded, reborn. Options are weighed. Nothing is settled.

Slowly, almost imperceptibly, the architecture of the vision begins to emerge — built from these small marks of graphite and ink, the first fragile scaffolding of what might become something real. A Quiz Show. A Panel Show. Or perhaps the grail itself: an idea so fresh, so quietly radical, that it gives rise to a genre not yet born.

More to come in time but if curiosity gets the bettter of you...
